N.H. Fall Shotgun Turkey Season Is October 13-17, 2008
Oct. 01, 2008New Hampshire's five-day fall shotgun turkey hunting season takes place Monday through Friday, October 13-17, 2008, in select Wildlife Management Units (WMUs) in the Connecticut River Valley and southwest portions of the state (WMUs D1, D2, G, H1, H2, I1, I2 and K). These areas have New Hampshire's densest wild turkey populations.
CONCORD, N.H. - If you see a flock of wild turkeys in New Hampshire this winter, the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department would like to hear about it. For the third consecutive year, citizens are being asked to report sightings of turkey flocks seen from now through March 31, 2011, by filling out a simple electronic survey form posted on the Fish and Game website at www.wildnh.com/turkeysurvey. You can also reach the survey by going to www.wildnh.com and clicking on "2011 Winter Turkey Flock Survey." Please do not report multiple sightings of the same flock.

New Hampshire?s five-day fall shotgun turkey hunting season takes place Monday through Friday, October 11-15, 2010, in 12 Wildlife Management Units (WMUs) in the Connecticut River Valley and southern New Hampshire (WMUs D1, D2, G, H1, H2, I1, I2, J1, J2, K, L and M).
N.H. Spring Gobbler Season Results - Jul. 09, 2010
New Hampshire hunters had a good spring turkey season in 2010, according to N.H. Fish and Game Department Turkey Project Biologist Ted Walski. The final 2010 spring gobbler season harvest for the state was 3,667 turkeys. The breakdown was 2,739 adult toms, 909 jakes and 19 bearded hens. This year?s take was in line with the 2009 spring harvest total of 4,063 turkeys. New Hampshire's spring gobbler season runs from May 3-31.

CONCORD, N.H. -- New Hampshire's five-day fall shotgun turkey hunting season takes place Monday through Friday, October 12-16, 2009, in 8 select Wildlife Management Units (WMUs) in the Connecticut River Valley and southwest portions of the state (WMUs D1, D2, G, H1, H2, I1, I2 and K). The fall archery season for turkey runs September 15 - December 15 statewide (except WMU A in northern N.H.).
Good 2009 Spring Turkey Season in New Hampshire - Jun. 30, 2009
CONCORD, N.H. -- New Hampshire had a good spring turkey hunt in 2009, according to New Hampshire Fish and Game Department Turkey Project Biologist Ted Walski. The final 2009 spring gobbler season harvest for the state was 4,056 turkeys. Of this total, the breakdown was: 2,609 adult toms, 1,435 jakes and 12 bearded hens. This year's take was just under last year's 2008 harvest total of 4,107 turkeys. The spring gobbler season runs from May 3-31 in New Hampshire.
