Spring Turkey Season Set, Online Apps Available - Jan. 24, 2011
The state Game and Fish Department is offering 6,720 wild turkey licenses for the spring hunting season, an increase of 80 from last year. The increase is a result of better turkey production in spring 2010, mostly in the hunting units bordering the Missouri River.

Fall Turkey Applications Due July 1 - Jun. 22, 2009
Prospective turkey hunters are reminded that applications for this fall's season must be in the mail and postmarked before midnight July 1.

Fall Turkey Season Set, Online Applications Available by June 12 - Jun. 08, 2009
North Dakota's fall turkey season is set with 6,805 licenses available to hunters, according to Stan Kohn, upland game management supervisor for the state Game and Fish Department.

Fall Turkey, Swan, Deer Licenses Available - Sep. 22, 2008
As of Sept. 22, approximately 900 fall turkey licenses are available to hunters. There is a limit of 15 fall turkey licenses per hunter. Turkey licenses remain in units 04 (portions of Billings and Golden Valley counties south of Interstate 94), 13 (Dunn County), 15 (Emmons County), 17 (portions of Billings and Golden Valley counties north of Interstate 94), 45 (Stark County), and 99 (Mercer and Oliver counties).
