Limited Quota Fall Turkey Application Deadline Extended to Aug. 18

CHEYENNE - The deadline to apply for fall limited quota turkey licenses has been extended to 5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 18.

Originally the deadline was 5 p.m. Aug. 15, but heavy Internet traffic due to doe/fawn deer and antelope and cow/calf elk sales on Aug. 15 has slowed computer servers. That prompted the Game and Fish to make the extension for the benefit of turkey hunters who had not applied earlier in the application period.

Hunters can either apply on online or through the mail. All applications must be received by the Game and Fish's Cheyenne office by 5 p.m. Aug. 18.
