LINCOLN, Neb. – Anyone interested in hunting turkeys is invited to a fall turkey hunting seminar in McCook on Oct. 7, according to the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission.

The free seminar is sponsored by the Commission, in conjunction with the McCook Strutters National Wild Turkey Federation chapter. North Platte’s Rick Windham, an outdoor educator, columnist, and radio host, will conduct the seminar.

Seminar topics will include: tactics, tips, safety, scouting, calling, decoys, equipment and camouflage.

The event will be held at 7 p.m. at McCook Community College, McMillen Hall, Room 213 at 1205 E. 3rd St.
